Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, he went to college and medical school in his native island, and came to New York for his residency training in Surgery and Plastic Surgery. He holds an academic position at SUNY Downstate Medical Center.
He moved to Dutchess County lured by its historical and geographical appeal 12 years ago. His wife Arleen certainly had some input in this decision, as well as, his three children, Jessica, Eddie and Christine.
His surgical interests are in Cosmetic Surgery including rhinoplasty, facelift, and all aspects of facial rejuvenation. His experience in liposuction is extensive with emphasis on lipocontouring of the neck, abdomen, and thighs. Use of fat injections to the face is also an area of expertise. He has fourteen years of experience in reconstruction of the face, focusing on facial soft tissue and facial bone surgery.
He is an avid sportsman with interests in tennis, squash, basketball and fly fishing. He often participates in these activities with his children.
